About Coarsegold Systems

Coarsegold Systems is a software company based in Cranford, New Jersey, building practical apps and games across a range of categories. Whether it's tackling a complex workflow or just passing the time, our goal is to bring you apps that handle the hard parts, and games that handle the fun ones.

The company's first release, SpEdStar, puts professional-grade special education tools into the hands of anyone who needs them — parents, caregivers, tutors, or educators. It combines lesson building, goal tracking, live data collection, and a full AAC communication board system into a single on-device app, replacing a patchwork of expensive, single-purpose software that has historically been locked behind institutional pricing.

SpEdStar is available on Google Play now, and coming soon to Apple devices as well.
